My Photography Story

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a creative little thing. My sister and I would spend our time making things out of paper, and when we got a computer for the first time, I used Paint to make ‘magazine covers’. I wish I still had them to show you!!

In high school I took a dark room photography class, and this is where my love for photography began! We made our own pinhole camera and I thought it was just the coolest thing so I continued to choose photography as a subject.

I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted to do after graduating so I took a year off, bought a DSLR and taught myself the basics of photography. I fell in love!

I still didn’t really know what I wanted to do, but I knew I loved taking photos. The next year I applied at CIT to study photography. After 3 years, I finally graduated with a Bachelor of Photography (yay!!!), but that’s when the real work began…

Starting my own business has been mostly challenging, but I wouldn’t have done it any other way.

On top of running my own photography business, now I’m dabbling in creating illustrations while studying Design at Uni – and loving it!

I’ve always been creative and I always will be.
