Photos Turned Illustrations

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I’ve been trying a lot of different things lately. Some things I do out of NEEDING to be creative during iso, and others I do to further my knowledge in different areas of photography.

I have also wanted to get into design for some time, and now I’m finally doing it! I have to admit, there are some things I don’t love about it… Typography has not been kind to me. BUT the side I’m absolutely loving is creating illustrations from images. I use Adobe Illustrator to trace the different elements of the photo and sample the colours that are in the original image.

I’m definitely still learning but in this blog I wanted to show you some of my creations. The original images were taken by me, enjoy!
